General Labourer Factory Assistant

Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £9.50 Hour
Working Hours: 8:00 to 16:30
Start date: ASAP

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a busy warehouse or factory environment. They will be a dependable individual and one who is able to adapt to the various physical duties that this role requires.

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires the individual to undertake various factory duties when instructed to do so. These duties include but are not limited to –

The boxing and packing of daily foam orders, ensuring that they are well packaged and will be protected in transit. This also includes the bagging and palletising of customer deliveries and wrapping/packing of finished goods.

Loading and unloading the contents of lorries as and when they arrive or leave the factory.

General housekeeping and tidying of factory, helping to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Any other duties as and when it is required of the individual.

Experienced Bandknife Operator

Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £11-13 per hour – 40 Hours per week

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Bandknife Operator. This role requires the individual to work to their own initiative. They must be able to communicate with others well across their own and other teams. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail. They will be able to interpret data and technical drawings quickly and effectively.

This position may also require the individual to work overtime and as such they must be flexible to be able to do so. Ultimately, the right person for the job will be reliable, productive and a dedicated team player who has a keen eye for detail when working in a busy factory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Bandknife Operator, you will be predominantly in charge of operating a bandknife from day to day. You will, however, be required to undertake other duties when necessary. The main duties of this position include but are not limited to –

Reading specifications and using measuring equipment when required to do so.

Ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and that any maintenance issues are reported to the Team Leader.

Cutting components and converting foam blocks which conform to customer drawings and requirements.

You may also be required to finish off components freehand to ensure a good finished product.

Ensuring any output is in line with the production plan and is finished to a high quality.

You will need to demonstrate full ownership of all assigned tasks and remain focused on the requirements that the end customer delegates.

Production & Assembly Worker

Ideal Candidate:

Due to a growth in service demand, GB Foam Ltd are looking to hire a new Production & Assembly Worker. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a similar role on a factory production line. The right person for the job will need to be a self-motivated individual with a drive to learn. They will have good numeracy skills and be an excellent communicator. They will have an exceptional work ethic and must have an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will require you to encompass various roles on our factory production line. You may also at times be requested to undertake other tasks as and when it is necessary to do so. Production & Assembly Worker duties include but are not limited to:

Cutting and assembling foam products in accordance to sale order documents.

Utilising required production equipment, adhering to product instructions.

Helping to pack and dispatch materials when required to do so.

Upholding the companies Health and Safety policy as well as the ISO 9001 criteria.

Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.

Ensuring all equipment used is well maintained and that any issues are reported to the relative Team Leader.

Packer/Machine Operative

Ideal Candidate:

Due to a growth in service demand, GB Foam Ltd are looking to hire a new Packer/Machine Operative. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a similar field. They will be a positive and hardworking individual, who’s keen to learn what it takes to be a Packer/Machine Operative at GB Foam Ltd. The individual will need to have good numeracy and literacy skills to undertake some of the required responsibilities. They will be a self-motivated person with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will require you to undertake various tasks throughout the factory. Outside of regular assigned duties, you may be required to complete other tasks as and when it is necessary to do so. The role of a Packer/Machine Operative includes but is not limited to:

The cutting and packing of foam products, ensuring that they are complete to the highest standard.

Maintaining a high level of productivity in order to meet day to day demands.

Upholding the companies Health and Safety policy as well as the ISO 9001 criteria.

CNC Operator

Ideal Candidate:

Due to a growth in service demand, GB Foam Ltd are looking to hire a new CNC Operator within our High Wycombe based factory. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a CNC Operator and be able to read technical drawings. They would also benefit from a personal interest in DIY. Including the aforementioned, the right person for the job will be positive and hardworking. They must also be within commuting distance to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The individual selected for the role will be provided with full company standard training.

Key Responsibilities:

As a CNC Operator at GB Foam Ltd, you will be required to operate our CNC equipment to create bespoke foam products. You may also be required to undertake other tasks as and when it is necessary to do so. The role of a CNC Operator includes but is not limited to:

Operating CNC equipment to create foam products which adhere to sale order instructions.

Assembling foam products when not operating CNC equipment. You must be able to efficiently delegate your time in order to do both sufficiently.

Ensuring that the correct programme is used when operating CNC equipment.

Upholding the companies Health and Safety policy as well as the ISO 9001 criteria.

Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.

Ensuring all equipment used is well maintained and that any issues are reported to the relative Team Leader.
