Foam conversion (or fabrication) is the process of cutting foam to shape and size using a variety of methods and cutting techniques. This includes, but is not limited to – die-cutting, log cutting, contour cutting, CNC routing, tilt knifing, splitting and skiving, profiling and band knifing.
In fact, there are many methods we can use to create a final foam product. While some foam products are manufactured in bulk, many need to be custom made to serve the correct purpose. This is where foam conversion comes into play.
Using an array of foam conversion techniques, we can manufacture a product to your requirements and specifications. There are many different grades of foam, each with unique properties and all of them can be converted so that they are fit for purpose.
