Reticulated Foam For Boats & Yachts
Reticulated foam is a unique foam grade which has a mesh-like structure. It is often used for boat and yacht seating because of its inherent ability to sieve water.
Reticulated foam is formed by removing the cell faces of regular polyurethane foam. It has proven to last much longer than regular polyurethane foam cushions on boats and yachts. This is because reticulated foam stays considerably drier than regular foam cushions. Foam which regularly becomes wet can break down at an accelerated rate. It is also much more susceptible to the growth of mildew and mould. By investing in reticulated foam cushions, you won’t need to replace them as often. This will save you both time and money!
